Wendi Mclendon

  American actor and comedian Wendi McLendon Covey (nee McLendon) was born on 10 October, 1969. She is most well-known for her humorous and improvised roles. Since 2013, McLendon-Covey has played the role as Beverly Goldberg, a family matriarch, on the ABC comedy show The Goldbergs, for which she was nominated for two Critics Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.



 



 McLendon Covey is a Long Beach native. She had a variety of jobs following her graduation from high school. In 2000, she earned an education at California State University, Long Beach. Following her graduation, she became a member of The Groundlings, an improvisational comedy group in Los Angeles, and remained in the group until. McLendon Covey's acting journey began while she was with The Groundlings. In the improv comedy series Reno 911, McLendon Covey played as the Deputy Clementine. (2003-2008, 2020-present). She was also the lead character on the Lifetime comedy Lovespring International (2006). McLendon Covey appeared in a recurring role as a guest on the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement (2010)-2013.
